STANDS WITH TIBET Since march 10, 2008, demonstrations
and unrest have been sweeping through Tibet. Tibetans are risking their lives for the chance to be heard by the world. The
Authorities in China have responded with violent force leading to the death of over a hundred and arrests of thousands.
The situation in Tibet is extremely tense as China continues its worst crackdown on the people of Tibet since
the 1960's cultural revolution. It is time for President Bush to end his silence on Tibet.
Please join
the International Campaign for Tibet and the Capital Area Tibetan Association as we publicly urge President Bush to make a
statement and not stand next to the Communist Party Officials at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.
